Open conversations deliver real value. Consumers can make more informed decisions when they know what other consumers have experienced, and businesses gain important insights from consumer feedback. Trustpilot strives to improve mackeeper reviews the shopping experience for everyone. They are giving consumers a voice and providing a space for companies to listen. They encourage all consumers who have had a genuine buying experience to share their opinions, because they believe that transparency benefits consumers and businesses alike. Trustpilot came into existence because the founder and CEO, Peter, wanted to help his Mom make better choices with her online shopping. He figured that providing a neutral space for everyone to write and read reviews would be a powerful source of information.

The vast majority of reviews come from genuine consumers. But there will always be a few bad apples that fabricate reviews, misuse or otherwise try to game the system. They have come a long way since Peter’s initial idea in 2007. They give their users the power to notify them about reviews that they suspect may not be genuine. They use customized detection software to root out potentially fake reviews, and employ a large, dedicated Compliance Team to investigate any reported misuse of the community. That way, individuals who engage in fraudulent activities, or companies that try and falsify their reputation or adversely affect competitors will be exposed by the strength of the community. They prioritize the sharing of genuine reviews. They ask consumers to make changes to their reviews if they violate their User Guidelines.
